DELIVERY
The actual discharge of bulk material to storage is normally carried out under the supervision of a representative of
the customer. However, before opening the discharge valve the tanker driver should, as far as he is able, confirm that the
vehicle is coupled to the correct storage tank and that it has sufficient free capacity to accept the delivery. The delivery
note includes a declaration that the installation is ready to receive the delivery, which is signed by the customers representative
before discharge.
The driver is responsible for ensuring that the discharge valve and any delivery hoses carried by the vehicle are clean
and will not cause contamination in the product.
The driver, in conjunction with the customer's representative, should take two samples of the product, from the top manhole,
prior to discharge. These must be labeled with the product name, delivery reference, and date. The customer retains one sample.
The other sample must be returned to Cryotech at 6103 Orthoway, Fort Madison, Iowa 52627. All samples should be retained for
two years.
The customer's representative on completion of the discharge must sign the delivery note.
To Avoid Problems
Do not mix propylene glycol fluids from different manufacturers, except at approved concentrations.
Do not mix propylene glycol fluids with ethylene glycol fluids.
STORAGE TANKS
Tanks and piping must be thoroughly clean prior to filling with DF Plus.

Kilfrost DF Plus (88)® Storage/Handling Guidelines
Propylene Glycol Aircraft Deicers
Customers frequently ask if material in their storage, handling, and application equipment is compatible with propylene
glycol aircraft deicers. There are technical differences between propylene glycol deicers from various producers, usually
in the formulation of corrosion inhibitors. Therefore, some differences in material compatibility are expected. The following
information applies to Kilfrost DF Plus (88)® Type I, which contains a minimum of 88% propylene glycol, by weight.
Product is manufactured by Cryotech Deicing Technology and Distributed by FYVE STAR, Inc.® an SBA Certified Small, Woman-Owned,
